What is it?   This plan combines editing and manuscript evaluation feedback to give you the most for your money for your fiction or non-fiction work. 

A Writing Coach will help you to determine a completion date for your book and assist you in writing a plan to help you to stay on target with the goal. This path gives you several key components necessary for the successful completion of your work.

Those key components are:

1. Determining the genre of your work; manuscript length (usually determined by publishing path ie: self-published or to market the work to major publishing companies);
2. Key companies to target once the work is completed;
3. Implementation plan for target completion
4. Weekly Conference Calls .......(1 hour in length)

Writing Coach:  $400.00 per month

$300.00 each month with a 3-month contact

$100.00 per hour (normal fee)

Straight-editing $110.00 per hour

Your work will be analyzed and edited for appropriate manuscript publishing guidelines and grammar. Recommendations and/or suggestions for gearing your work for a particular market will be given to the author in either electronic or verbal overview.

Copyediting/Proofreading $25.00/hour (6-hour minimum) You make the corrections.

This is the last phase for your manuscript prior to agent of publisher submission. Your work will be reviewed either by paper or electronic form for grammar, style, punctuation accuracy and edited for content. Your work will be returned to you with standard proofreader’s marks (with legend sheet).

Copyediting/Proofreading $2.00 per page if you want us to make the corrections in grammar for you. The content will still need to be changed by you.

Query Letter $100.00 flat fee

Write-for-Hire  (Ghost-writing) $120/hour or by project

You may decide you do not have the time required to write your book. Maybe you have written it and you do not want to go through the painful editing process. This option is perfect for you! Allow a professional writer to either write your story (as told to) or to “clean” up your writing. Your name goes on the book.

This option is perfect for the self-published author who wants to maintain control of his/her work.

Ghost Letter $300 flat fee for up to three hours

We will write a letter for you after obtaining pertinent facts. We learn what you wish to accomplish and help you find the words necessary for your success.

Submission Assistant $110.00 hour

Let us prepare your package for finding a publisher or an agent. The kit includes query letter; synopsis, and the fist three chapters of your work. Please note: the author must provide the first three chapters of the manuscript. Additionally, an intensive interview with a member of our staff is necessary to assist you in finding your “target-market.”

Special Services-Manuscript Evaluation Options

Writer Requirements: Writer may submit either a completed manuscript or a partial manuscript. If a partial is submitted then please also submit a synopsis or outline of your work. We accept electronic and mailed submissions. Please note: mailed submissions must be accompanied with a SASE for the manuscript to be returned to you.

What is it? What you get is a professional critique of your manuscript. Your work will be edited for content such as characterization; plot development; dialogue; and pacing of work. What you receive is a one-page critique detailing areas in which you need to target to make your work more marketable and a 30-minute counseling (either on-line or by telephone). The strong points will be discussed and suggestions for making your writing stronger will also be detailed in your report. Please allow 24-48 hours for manuscript turn-around.

Fiction Manuscript      $500-&1200 flat fee (fee depends on length of completed manuscript)

Non-Fiction Manuscript  $200-&800 flat fee (fee depends on length of completed manuscript)

Juvenile Works $100 (flat fee)

Teen Novels $200 (flat fee)

Poetry $75-100 (flat fee)

Business Workbooks/technical manuals $1000-3000 (fee depends on length and complexity of manuscript)

        Author Bio $75.00 flat fee

This option is for the self-published author needing a professional touch to write you a winning author’s biographical sketch. Get the attention of your intended audience!

Press Release $375.00 flat fee

This option is for the published author who needs an experienced press release writer to do this for you. Please note: This price is for the writing of the release and not for sending it to the media for you.

Full Media Kit $500 flat fee

This option contains the following:  author bio; press release; and note to the editor (author must provide black and white photo if he/she wishes for it to be included).

Publicity Agent $3500 flat fee

This option is for all published authors who wish to employ a professional publicity agent. This is someone who will handle the “business” portion of your career thus freeing you to do what a writer does best- write. Let me handle the promotion of your book. This plan gives you the full media kit with press mailings to local newspapers, bookstores, local radio and television stations. Additionally, author signings will be scheduled for you in your local area.
